About Qevlar AI
Qevlar AI is revolutionizing the SOC with autonomous investigation and, in doing so, solving three key problems for analysts: the cybersecurity talent shortage, alert fatigue, and increasingly complex and sophisticated threats.
Founded in 2023, we’ve already made waves in cybersecurity, AI, and start-up communities. A few highlights:
- Raised $14M in funding led by EQT Ventures and Forgepoint Capital
- Accepted into Station F’s flagship AI program (Meta, Hugging Face, Scaleway)
- Named by Sifted (Financial Times) as one of Europe’s cybersecurity startups to watch
- Joined Platform 58, La Banque Postale’s premier startup incubator
- Ranked among the top 10 most innovative startups in France by EU-Startups
- Secured early partnerships with major players across EMEA, NAMER, and MENA
- We have some exciting (and impressive) Fortune 500 customers we’re really excited about.
We’re at a pivotal stage — building fast, growing smart, and bringing on sharp minds to shape the future of autonomous cyber defense.
What you will do
At Qevlar AI, we’re building a fully autonomous investigation engine for SOC analysts. As our Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of security operations—combining deep user empathy with sharp product instincts, and a strong sense of ownership over outcomes.
Here’s what success in this role looks like:
- Define the Future of Autonomous Security Operations
Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for a category-defining AI product, serving some of the most advanced security teams across the UK, US, and EMEA. - Champion Security as a Core Part of Product Quality
You’ll embed cybersecurity into every layer of product development—from discovery to delivery—ensuring we don’t just build fast, but build right. - Balance Security and Usability Without Compromise
SOC analysts need speed, clarity, and trust. You’ll make smart trade-offs between security features and seamless UX to deliver real-world, usable innovation. - Translate Complexity into Clarity
Drive product decisions grounded in deep user research, threat models, and customer workflows. Turn ambiguous security problems into precise, buildable solutions. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally Like a Pro
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Security, and GTM teams to ship secure, scalable, and elegant features. You’ll be the connective tissue between functions. - Own and Communicate Cybersecurity Requirements
You’ll lead the charge in identifying risks, defining security requirements, and aligning teams around how we mitigate them—without slowing down momentum. - Stay Ahead of the Threat Curve
Continuously monitor the evolving threat landscape and integrate those insights into your roadmap. You'll help Qevlar and its customers stay a step ahead. - Build for High-Stakes Environments
Our users aren’t shopping carts—they’re threat responders. You’ll design for critical moments and high-value use cases where trust and performance are everything.
Who we're looking for
You're not just a Product Manager — you're a strategic thinker, a builder, and a force multiplier. You know how to operate in complexity, thrive in ambiguity, and care deeply about creating products that matter.
Here's what you bring:
- Product Leadership in Cybersecurity
You’ve led the development of software products in cybersecurity and are comfortable navigating technical conversations and can simplify complexity for others. - Customer Obsession with a Builder’s Mindset
You instinctively zoom in on user pain, then zoom out to design holistic solutions. You don’t just gather feedback—you interrogate it, synthesize it, and translate it into clarity and action. - Strong Experience in B2B Software
Ideally, you've built tools for enterprise buyers or operational teams with complex needs and long sales cycles. Bonus points if you’ve worked across global markets like the UK, US, or EMEA. - Security Fluency or High Curiosity
You understand (or are eager to learn) the unique challenges of building secure software. Threat models, secure defaults, and privacy concerns don’t intimidate you—they inform your decisions. - Execution Excellence
You know how to ship. You’ve owned product roadmaps end-to-end, rallied cross-functional teams, and made tough trade-offs under time pressure—with quality always in mind. - Great Judgment, Low Ego
You lead with curiosity, not certainty. You’re decisive, but never dismissive. You know when to push, when to pause, and when to change course. - Data-Driven but Not Data-Blind
You use metrics, insights, and feedback loops to guide decisions—but you don’t get lost in dashboards. You trust intuition when it’s earned and ask the right questions when it’s not. - Clear Communicator & Natural Collaborator
Whether writing a spec, pitching an idea, or resolving a disagreement—you’re clear, respectful, and aligned with the broader mission. You know how to build momentum, not just manage processes.
